Phones for Second Chances: $1,000 Goal Launched

NUconnextions has launched its Phones for Second Chances fundraiser with a $1,000 goal. Every phone — about $80 — goes to a returning citizen walking out with nothing, pre-programmed with volunteer numbers so their first call is to family. Before a phone ever leaves our hands, we program in volunteer numbers — men with men, women with women — so the first voice they hear is somebody safe.
